today was good. being back at the hospital was a smart move. i missed those people and the presence of animals. i don't feel so braindead when i am working there. the times was a monkey job, + a little writing. getting laid off from the times was a blessing. fo' shizzy.

tonight's plans have been cancelled. it is too cold to go to the beach (i can't seem to get ahold of jeff anyway) and the duquettes are drunk as skunks and going to their place to watch wrestling. i have no car, my tire blew up, so here i sit. also, being sober around drunks is a n n o y i n g. instead, i'll just finish up the book i'm reading, and go to bed early.

another goal for the evening: keep the kitties off of the freshly painted nightstand and shelf that sit in the middle of my living room.
