last night was pretty chill. i watched a bit of television while cuddled alone under some blankets. i haven't been feeling well lately, so it was a well-needed rest.

nick came by around midnight with a 40 oz. and a smile. we watched comedy central and struggled to share my old, torn up quilt.

2:30 am came quickly, and i made a retreat to my comfortable queen-sized bed. sleeping beside someone is something i've missed. despite the total plutonic feel of it, i enjoyed touching his unshaven face this morning.

we have found a happy medium with each other. it's taken much time and effort, but is proving to be very worth it.
