sometimes i think that love, be it friendly or romantic, isn't worth the time and energy. there have been so many times that i have given all of myself to someone, and in return, i get nothing but a web of confusion or a long trail of lies. if only people could be strong enough to tell the truth and deal with reality, instead of always acting out of fear.
